Frederick Bishop
A BELVEDERE HERO
Bombardier F. Bishop, of 3, Sutherland Road, Belvedere, died on December 15th. from pneumonia and gas poisoning. He served his time at Fraser & Chalmers Ltd., as a turner, and joined the Army two years since. After ten months of home service, he went to France and was expecting to get his leave at Christmas. On December 6th he was taken ill, and expired, as stated above. He was exceedingly popular with his workmates and in the unit to which he belonged, and all join in expressing their sympathy with the widow and four young children in the loss they have sustained.

His loving smile, his welcome face,
No one can fill his vacant place.
